See it: Dogs march through Tompkins Square Park in Halloween costumes

EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (PIX11) — Hot dogs and pigeons and princesses, oh my!

Dogs dressed in their spookiest costumes marched through Tompkins Square Park Saturday afternoon for the 34th annual Halloween Dog Parade.

Things To Do Around NYC

The pups were paraded through a massive crowd showing off costumes like Bob from Beetlejuice, the house from “Up,” french fries and ketchup, airplanes and more.

The adorable parade is not the last chance to catch dressed-up pups in New York City. On Saturday, dogs dressed in costume will compete in a contest at Fort Greene Park.

Beyond the costume contests, October is full of Halloween events in New York City. For something scarier, check out a haunted house in the city this month.
